Just imagine an extra Summer Friday each week!

(That won’t be hard to do on a Tuesday.)

As publishers, marketers, and many other free-willing humans continue to consider the possibilities and ramifications of rampant AI — and more and more research is devoted to who’s using it and how — one new stat stands out.

In Salesforce’s newly released Generative AI Snapshot Research Series study, more than 4,000 sales, services, marketing, and commerce professionals were surveyed, ultimately estimating that they save an average of five hours a week using generative AI.

Or, as the study calculates, “the equivalent of one month per year for full-time employees.”

(Forget a Summer Friday— that’s a Holiday December number!)

“Generative AI has the potential to help businesses connect with their audiences in new, more personalized ways,” says Paula Goldman, Salesforce’s Chief Ethical and Humane Use Officer. “As companies embrace this technology, businesses need to ensure that there are ethical guidelines and guardrails in place for safe and secure development and use of generative AI.”
