AI gets all the attention for the impacts it’s making, but when it comes to making the biggest impact on revenue, don’t sleep on the trusty CRM.
Right-sizing Your CRM, the recent research report from Insightly By Unbounce, found that 53% of sales professionals believe increasing sales efficiency will make the biggest revenue impact this year, followed by aligning sales, marketing, and customer success (50%).

“This is a notable shift from our research conducted in 2022 in which team alignment wasn’t even recognized among the top five strategic priorities of go-to-market teams,” the report says. “Teams are recognizing that even the best tools and strategies fall flat without cross-functional collaboration.”
The implementation of AI was the third-ranked impact on that list, mentioned by 36% of sales professionals, with executives “significantly more likely” than non-executives to see AI as a revenue-growth catalyst.
Clearly, those CRMs driven by AI functionality and focused on all its efficiency potential — as Magazine Manager is — serve to greatly impact sales professionals alongside other teams who work on such a robust, unified software. Of the challenges associated with improving efficiency, the biggest ones were too many manual tasks (31%) and limited team capacity (also 31%).
“This shared pain point suggests that inefficiency is pervasive across functions,” the report says. “Leveraging the right technology to streamline workflows can not only make the entire GTM process more efficient, it could also reduce friction across the customer journey and ultimately drive business growth.”
